Insignia Business Development Account Executive

Description:

Insignia Software is seeking energetic candidates to market Insignia products. This is a full-time position (but can be started as a part-time position) and will start as soon a suitable candidate is selected.

This position can be at the Edmonton office or from a remote location.

Duties:

This position requires a candidate to be ambitious and creative when it comes to marketing and sales. Day to day tasks include, but are not limited to:

  1. Calling potential prospects.
  2. Giving online demos or onsite demos anywhere in Canada and USA.
  3. Very good knowledge of Insignia products and competitors’ products.
  4. Attend tradeshows anywhere in Canada and the USA.
  5. Responding to RFP.
  6. Generating leads and following up leads.
  7. Designing brochures.
  8. Plan Pre-conference marketing strategy.
  9. Marketing analysis.

Requirements:

  1. MUST have marketing diploma or business degree.
  2. People person and Excellent phone manners.
  3. Excellent writing skills.
  4. Very knowledgeable on all Microsoft Office products.
  5. Valid Class 5 license and a Valid Canadian passport.
  6. Security clearance – no criminal record.
  7. Being multilingual is a definite asset.
  8. Requires at least 1 week of traveling per month.
  9. Must have proven 3-5 years of sales experience.

Insignia Product Support Specialist

Description:

Insignia Software is seeking energetic candidates to provide technical support for Insignia products to its customers all over the world. This is a full-time position and will start as soon a suitable candidate is selected.

This position is at the Edmonton office.

Duties:

This position involves different task and supporting different products. Experience in other library automation systems and student information systems are a definite asset. Past experience in providing technical support is also a definite asset. Day to day tasks include but not limited to are:

  1. Providing phone support.
  2. Product enhancement recommendations.
  3. Quality control.
  4. Updating User manual.
  5. Updating ShowMe videos.
  6. Responding to RFP.
  7. Providing training to customers.
  8. Updating knowledgebase cases and release notes.
  9. Requires traveling.

Requirements:

  1. MUST have IT diploma or library diploma.
  2. People person and Excellent phone manners.
  3. Excellent writing skills.
  4. Very knowledgeable on all Microsoft Office products.
  5. Valid Class 5 license and Valid Canadian passport.
